Face seal blister packaging is a highly effective way to showcase and protect small, lightweight tubes like nourishing hair oils. In this format, a transparent plastic cavity (the blister) is heat-sealed directly onto the front of a printed cardboard backing, creating a secure compartment that displays the product clearly
Key Features of Tapered Designs
High Visibility: The transparent plastic (usually PET or PVC) allows consumers to see the tube design, colour and shape immediately.
Brand Real Estate: The cardboard backing provides a large surface area for branding, usage instructions, ingredients, and barcodes.
Protection & Security: It safeguards the product from dust, moisture, and physical damage while being inherently tamper evident the card must be torn to access the balm.
Retail Ready: These packs typically include a "euro-hole" or peg hole for easy hanging on retail display hooks.
